SWC ranks as a top MBA Admissions Consultancy (again!)

We’ve got two big reasons to celebrate this year.

Sam Weeks Consulting was ranked #3 on the Poets&Quants Most Favorably Reviewed Small-Sized MBA Admissions Consulting Firms 2024 list.

Sam Weeks was ranked #8 on the Poets&Quants Global Top MBA Admissions Consultants 2024 list.

Congratulations to the SWC team are in order! As I reflect on the past year, I want to share some of our wins with you.

  • We had our highest-ever intake of clients this year. Our team of consultants worked with 60 hand-picked clients - triple that of last year’s intake! Thank you for all the love you’ve shown us. Of those 60, 55 clients secured admits, giving us a client success rate of 92%.

  • Our male to female client ratio went up this year, with 40% of our clients being female. That’s up from a 62:38 ration last year. This correlates with the upwards trend of women applying to MBA programs.

  • The SWC team evaluated 453 profiles for prospective applicants.

  • Every client applying to an international program with us made it through. That’s a 100% international program success rate. SWC clients mainly applied to INSEAD, London Business School, Oxford Said Business School, and Cambridge Judge in Europe.

  • The average GMAT score of SWC applicants last year was 698, up by 2 points from the year before. This seems to be part of a wider global trend where the average GMAT score is increasing, according to school data. The GMAT Focus edition was also released in the last year, which could affect these numbers.

  • We welcomed Zack Hoyt to our team! Zack brings years of experience as a management consultant for McKinsey, a military veteran, a Private Equity operator, and a leader in startups. See his full profile here

"...Sam says he speaks two languages (English and French) but I think his third language is GETTING YOU IN!

We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for Sam Weeks Consulting. Cheers to all the top MBA Admissions Consultants on the list!

Unsure whether you should hire a top MBA Admissions Consultant? Here's why you should consider:

  • Professionally filter your application and learn what you should and shouldn’t include.

  • Learn how to present yourself. For out-of-practice professionals, it is important to know how to turn experiences into engaging stories.

  • Prepare for the MBA interview. This is completely different from your garden-variety job interview and requires extensive practice.

  • Receive constructive feedback and support at every step. Your consultant wants the same thing you do: a successful MBA application!
